The Geography Department is a well resourced working environment within the main building. There are two dedicated rooms all equipped with internet access, one has an interactive whiteboard, the other a computer linked to a projector. Both rooms have DVD and video facilities.
We regularly take students to Poole, Lulworth, Bruton, Weymouth, Portland, Studland and Hengistbury Head. The A Level students go to Bournemouth University for Revision Seminars.
Curriculum Delivery
At Key Stage 3 all students follow the National Curriculum. In Year 7 students study basic geographical skills, Plate Tectonics, Volcanoes and Earthquakes, basic mapwork, settlement and fieldwork techniques.
