In the recently published government league tables, Shaftesbury and Sturminster Sixth Form was the highest ranked state sixth form in Dorset for A/AS level points per pupil.
The league table measures the level of qualifications students leave the Sixth Form with. When this is put alongside the independent ALPS report which showed that our Sixth Formers are in the top 25% nationally for the progress they make compared with their GCSE results it demonstrates that Shaftesbury and Sturminster Sixth Form is a place where all students can excel and reach their full potential.
