Sixth Form Open Evening

You are warmly invited to the forthcoming Sixth Form Open Evening which forms an integral part of the application procedure for entry into Sixth Form in September 2023.

The Open Evening is at Shaftesbury School on Tuesday 15 November from 6-8pm, with refreshments served in the Sixth Form Café from 5.30pm. The evening will be a chance for you to talk to staff and students and see examples of students’ work. There will be a short presentation for parents and students at 6.00pm and the presentation is repeated at 7.00pm, so you can choose to visit subject stands before or after the presentation.

Copies of the course information booklet will be available on the evening and all information will also be available on the school website shortly before the open evening www.shaftesburyschool.co.uk/sixth-form/

Shaftesbury Sixth Form offers an inclusive environment that caters for all levels of study, with programmes accommodating both Level 3 students and Pre-Sixth Level 2 students that have achieved a range of GCSE grades. We firmly believe that applying for Sixth Form is in the best interests of nearly all our Year 11 students and welcome applications from all our students as well as students from other schools.
